The Emotional Freedom Techniques is an energy healing modality.

It combines an awareness of your problems with body energy stimulation on well accepted acupuncture points on the body. Tapping with finger tips takes the place of needles.

It has the potential for aiding in the repair of many different disturbances in our energy system.

These disturbances surface as emotional and physical pain.

Gary Craig, an engineer from California is the developer of this technique. EFT incorporates and utilizes Einstein's theory that we are energy beings.

Gary's premise is "The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system." Not sure that it has limitations Gary says, “Try it on everything.”

So I did…”My Mother’s knee was very inflamed and swollen. She could not walk even one step and it was a Sunday afternoon. So I measured her knee circumference with a piece of string. We did the EFT tapping procedure for about 30 minutes, bringing in various aspects of emotions connected to her knees.
